CAHSEE Information

All Glendora High School students will take the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) in February of their 10th grade year.  This exam is a graduation requirement.  Students need to pass both the English Language Arts and Math portion of this exam to receive a diploma.  Information regarding the material covered in this exam can be found at  http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/hs/

If your student does not pass the exam during his/her 10th grade year, they will be placed in a CAHSEE intervention class during their 11th or 12th grade year.  The purpose of this course is to work on skills necessary for the exam in a more focused environment.  Students will have mulitple opportunities to take this exam during their 11th and 12th grade year.

For more detailed information regarding the CAHSEE please contact Joanne O'Connell in the Testing Office at (626) 963-5731 ext. 299.
