The A-G Requirements are a sequece of high school courses that students must complete (with a grade of C or better) to be minimally eligible for admission to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems.  These courses represent a basic level of academic preparation that high school students should achieve to undertake university work.  A study conducted by Citrus College showed that a students completion of A-G courses signficantly increased their chance of progressing through the community college track at a faster rate and with a higher success rate of earning an AA degree.
